We develop sustainable and economically viable flexible packaging that helps reduce plastic usage and food waste — while maintaining the performance and efficiency our customers rely on.
Why it matters
Flexible plastic packaging plays a critical role in protecting and preserving food, reducing food waste and delivering safe products to consumers worldwide. Compared to many alternative materials, plastic packaging typically requires less energy to manufacture and transport.
The challenge — and responsibility — is not eliminating plastic, but designing packaging that supports a circular economy and minimizes waste. That responsibility is shared across the value chain.
Recyclable solutions
100% of our polyethylene (PE) wicket bags are recyclable in municipalities that accept polyethylene bags. We also offer recyclable mono-material laminated pouches designed to maintain performance while improving recyclability.
Material innovation
We support customers in choosing the right materials for their sustainability goals — reducing dependency on fossil fuels, driving demand for recycled materials and lowering overall carbon footprint, without compromising performance.
Operations
Beyond product design, we continuously work to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations and advance toward a Zero Waste to Landfill objective.
Collaboration
We actively participate in industry initiatives focused on improving end-of-life solutions for flexible packaging, as members of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), Flexible Packaging Europe (FPE), Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) and British Plastics Federation (BPF).
There is no one-size-fits-all solution. We work closely with customers to balance recyclability, recycled content, bio-based materials, downgauging and performance for their products and markets.
